I am against it.
The bugs are already classified according to their product and
component. Whether or not they are easy to fix or appropriate for people
to work on who don't have a lot of experience is an orthogonal issue to
what product the bug is against. Moving bugs out of their original
product and into your proposed component would mean we lose track of
which product they are related to.
We should be using "easy-fix" where appropriate and you could add "love"
to the whiteboard status field on bugs that are not necessarily easy to
fix but which require relatively little experience to get involved with.
Cheers,
Malcolm
