Gcalctool is the default GNOME desktop calculator.
It has Basic, Advanced, Financial and Scientific modes. Internally it
uses multiple precision arithmetic to produce results to a high degree
of accuracy.
IMPORTANT NOTE.
---------------
This release is a respin to fix a crasher. It's hopefully for the GNOME
2.10.0 (beta2) call for tarballs, if there is still time to pick it up.
Note that in order to build, gcalctool now requires Gtk+ v2.6.1 (or later).
Changes since the last gcalctool version (5.5.33).
* Fixed bug 166634 (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166634)
Call to create the About box was missing a NULL terminator.
Thanks to Dennis Cranston for finding and fixing this one.
You can download this new version from:
http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/gcalctool/5.5/
[Although some of the ftp mirrors may take a little while to sync].
