Announcing: Flumotion 0.1.7 "La Chacha" released

Hi everyone,
We are happy to announce the 0.1.7 release of the Flumotion Distributed
Streaming Media server. Flumotion is streaming media server based upon
leading technologies such as GStreamer and Twisted, with a GTK+ based
configuration and administration system included.

The development of Flumotion is done by Fluendo, and commercial support
and upgrades are available.

So after successfully presenting Flumotion at FOSDEM and PyCon,
we now got Flumotion 0.1.7 released. The source code can be found on our
site (http://www.flumotion.net/ )  Packages for Fedora Core 3 are
available through the GStreamer apt/yum repository

Flumotion is also available in other popular distributions such as
Mandrake and Ubuntu and the new version should be available through
their repositories very soon.

Includes is the list of features and issues fixed:

Features since 0.1.6:

- running configuration can be exported to XML from the admin client
- XML can be imported to the manager from the admin client
- admin client manages and remembers previous connections
- works with Twisted 2.0 as well
- TV Cards are properly supported now
- keycards contain a domain that can be used in bouncers
- Firewire sound volume can be changed
