GNOME Power Tools: Every GNOME Geek's Batbelt!

                      What's cooler than a jackhammer?
                           A grunty German tank?
How about a massive Korean sculpture of a drill?
Or a bobcat joust with lightsabres?

                        Every GNOME Geek's Batbelt!

There's a big gap in GNOME's official release categories. On one hand, we
have the Desktop, which attempts to provide a relevant set of modules for
all GNOME users. Then we have Fifth Toe, which is our collection of the
coolest GNOME applications.

But where are all the geektoys?

That's where the Power Tools fit in: Rockin' little utilities, applets and
playthings for the "technically oriented". Which means, roughly, anyone who
made their way to this paragraph. Every GNOME Geek's Batbelt!

So far, we have:

  * acme - A multimedia keys daemon and configuration utility, by Bastien
    Nocera.

  * devilspie - A window-matching daemon, inspired by Matched Windows in
    Sawfish, by Ross Burton.

  * HotApplet - An lm-sensors based temperature monitoring applet, by Daniel
    Baeyens.

  * ... YOUR SOFTWARE HERE!

Have you got a sweet geektoy, power tool or utility for the Power Tools
release? Fame, fortune and extensive user support await you! Please send a
link to your software to Jeff Waugh <jdub gnome org> to be added to the
release!

  RAW POWER!
