*** gnomemm
The libgnome*mm libraries wrap the GNOME2 libraries for C++, for use
with gtkmm2. They are collectively known as gnomemm. This release should work
with the 'GNOME 2.0 Desktop Beta 2: "I bastun bor vi allihopa!"' release.
libgnomeuimm wraps libgnomeui for C++.
libgnomecanvasmm wraps libgnomecanvas for C++.
libgnomemm wraps libgnome for C++.
gconfmm wraps GConf for C++.
We have also provided gnomemm as one umbrella package, gnomemm-all, for your
convenience. This is experimental.
*** Changes since 1.3.2:
libgnomemm:
* No changes - no new release.
gconfmm:
* Changed signal args to C++ types. (Murray Cumming)
* Gnome::Conf::Client methods can now throw Gnome::Conf::Error exceptions,
using the glibmm Glib::Error system. Therefore the get_last_error() method
has now been removed. (Murray Cumming)
* Corrected use of $() to @@ in pkg-config .pc.in file. (Rick L Vinyard Jr)
libgnomecanvasmm:
* Changed signal args to C++ types. (Murray Cumming)
* Renamed canvas-*.[h.cc] to *.[h.cc]. They were previously prefixed by
canvas- to make things clearer when they were part of libgnomeui.
This means you should probably manually delete any installed
libgnomecanvasmm headers or make uninstall a previous version.
(Murray Cumming)
* docs/reference generation fixed (Andreas Holzmann)
* Gnome::Canvas:
- Antialiased canvas constructor fixed
- aa property changed from gulong to bool
(Andreas Holzmann)
* Gnome::Canvas::Pixbuf and Gnome::Canvas::RichText implemented
(Andreas Holzmann)
* Added demo, based on the C demo - needs some more classes to be
implemented. (Andreas Holzmann)
libgnomeuimm
* Changed signal args to C++ types. (Murray Cumming)
*** Download
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=1161
You will need the latest unstable gtkmm2, available from the same place.
*** Installation:
The gnomemm libraries should be built and installed in this order:
libgnomemm, gconfmm, libgnomecanvasmm, libgnomeuimm.
