That can be a pain, to work like this.
I'm just wondering, what get you as out put for the words
Zürich, hätte, könnte
Replace Gnopericus the German characters with something like space or
a stranger character or does it skip them completely.
And what does it with the character "ß".
Run you a German installation of Gnome or an English one?
