Hello, RE: Bug 189610 - CPU @ 100% with multiplerunningbonobo-activation-server

I've just installed the latest version of GTK+ however I'm still having
problems with the gnome-desktop app when I run most applications.

I also have not found the gnome-desktop program on the system at all.

Could anyone suggest any additional steps I could try?

One possible cause for GTK+ not fixing the problem is I did not pass any
options to the ./configure script. Might this script need anything?

Thanks

Hi,

You might try a newer version of gtk+ as a workaround to the gnome-panel
issue. I had the same problem, and after I installed gtk+-2.8.17, it went
away.
