Re: making shift-tab work

I'm afraid I don't understand your question.  Shift-Tab and
Alt-Shift-Tab are perfectly valid key combinations in X, and in fact
they are needed for normal keyboard navigation of the desktop and
graphical applications.  For what purpose would you wish to alter the
keymap?
