Starting gnopernicus.

Hello. I do have a working gnopernicus on a Red Hat 9 system running gnome
2.2, but I'd like to know the best way to start gnopernicus. I['m not doing
something right, because if I load it in/.xinitrc gnopernicus comes up
talking, I can access all the dialogs, but if I minimize the window to do
something else speech stops cold.
What is the best way to start gnopernicus so that I can access all the gnome
apps and desktop?
