Hi all
I was wondering if there was a way to pass the numeric keypad through to
gnome applications. For instance, I am trying out a DVD-player for Linux
with a GTK2-based interface. It's reasonably accessible, enough for me to
use it. However, to move through the DVD menus requires the keypad with
numlock turned on, but gnopernicus completely steels the keypad away. I
tried setting the keypad to layers 2, 4, and 10 which, according to the
gnopernicus website, are completely unmapped. However, gnopernicus still
keeps the keypad despite the fact that there's nothing mapped to it. Is
there any way to pass the keypad through? I know the layout of the DVD that
I am trying to play well, so I know the keypad not getting through is the
problem. I also tried it without gnopernicus running and it worked fine.
So... is there any way to do this, or are their plans for such a feature?
This sort of feature would also be quite useful in calculator applications,
IMHO.
calculator programs.
