Re: questions about j2sdk and go_gnome

Hello, Cheryl. If you already have an existing gnome 2.2 build in /usr it is
not required to use the go_gnome script. It's vary miss leading to users who
have working 2.2 releases of gnome which now comes with Red Hat 9.0,
Slackware 9.0, and Debian unstable.
Point for everyone the variables in the go_gnome script is only required if
you wish to install your copy of gnome in a unusual place like /opt/gnome.
Even then it isn't really required if you just punch in the variables you
need. I guess we need to write a new updated mini howto on compiling
gnopernicus.
