Hello all,
After building Gnome 2.3 from garnome 0.25.0 or 0.25.1, I obtain the
following errors when launching gnome-session :
GTK Accessibility Module initialized
** (gnome-session:8786): WARNING **:
--- you're entering a whole world of pain ---
** (process:8791): WARNING **: FIXME: Need to shutdown linc connections ...
** (process:8791): WARNING **: CORBA_ORB_destroy: ORB still has 2 refs.
** (process:8791): WARNING **: ORB: a total of 6 refs to 5 ORB objects were leaked
Bonobo accessibility support initialized
Atk Accessibilty bridge initialized
_IceTransmkdir: Owner of /tmp/.ICE-unix should be set to root
SESSION_MANAGER=local/spy:/tmp/.ICE-unix/8786
** (process:8814): WARNING **: FIXME: Need to shutdown linc connections ...
** (process:8814): WARNING **: CORBA_ORB_destroy: ORB still has 2 refs.
** (process:8814): WARNING **: ORB: a total of 6 refs to 5 ORB objects were leaked
GTK Accessibility Module initialized
GLib-ERROR **: The thread system is not yet initialized.
aborting...
I post this previously on the garnome mailing-list but unfortunatly
obtain no response/ideas. so I decided now to post it here hoping that
perhaps someone here will have an idea about how to fix this pproblem.
To be more precise, my system is Debian sarge/sid (I previously
installed the Debian Gnome 2 packages, perhaps it makes conflicts ?)
i removed all the configuration files in my home directory (.gnome*
.gconf* .nautilus .metacity) and restarted gnome-session but the problem
is still here !
To launch gnome-session, I use the procedure Bill explained here :
launching gnome-session in the .xinitrc file and gnopernicus in the
.gnome2/session-manual file. To start, I run the startx script.
so, if you have an idea ?
Help will be very appreciated, thanks in advance !
