It 's strange, I did a jhbuild of at-spi yesterday from 
anoncvs.gnome.org and 
/libbonobo/bonobo-activation/bonobo-activation-2.0.pc
contains:
Name: Bonobo Activation
Version: 2.3.4
...
I can send you my .jhbuildrc if you wish.
