Thanks a lot for this info and for your patch.  I will certainly want to
try it soon.  As you say I think this is pretty well undocumented :-)
though I suspected that something like this was possible.  I was
expecting to have to mess with an existing keysym or keycode however,
and didn't know that there was one "reserved" for such tomfoolery.
