problem with the latest atk checkins

the current atk code checked in (gnome 2.0 tree) has the following problem
when i use the vicious-build-script to build the atk sources, the make
install results in installing the header files and the library files in
/usr/local/include and /usr/local/lib instead of the /gnome/head/INSTALL
respective directories because of which the libglade library doesn't
compile. Infact, it also asks for the glib 1.3.11 version rather than the
1.3.10 version (is there any specific reason for that because as such it
compiles with 1.3.10 if change the configure script).
since i am new to this list and i am trying to compile the gnome2.0 for the
first time, i am not really sure whether this is the case working with the
gnome cvs tree. If this is a normal case, then sorry for raising this issue.
