Regarding your mouse:abs question with ssh -X, I suspect this is a
bug/limitation in this edition of the at-spi registry daemon, which is
connecting to the daemon's X display and not the client's. It appears
that DISPLAY may not be getting set correctly by ssh, thus
at-spi-registryd is listening to the wrong X DISPLAY's I/O devices.
However, I am not certain about these details as I have not checked this
myself yet. Certainly at-spi is intended to work across remote
client/server X connections but it has not been tested in very many such
situations yet.
