[g-a-devel]Accessibility for Mixer Applet

Hello Everbody,
I request your comments on the accessibility related study for Mixer applet.

Applet Name: Mixer Applet

Description: This is a volume control applet with the sole functionality of
setting volume for the desktop.

GLE Output:
+ BonoboPlug
--------+ Panel Applet
----------------+ GtkFrame
------------------------+GtkImage

Custom Widgets Used: GnomeAbout - made accessible through libgnomeui.

Observations-
1) The applet recieves focus when navigated through the Tab key.
2) Pressing Space bar or Enter key pops up the Vscale wherein the the volume
can be adjusted using the Up/Down arrow keys.
3) Pressing Space bar or Enter again pops down the Vscale.
4) Pressing Shift+F10 pops up the context menu
5) Selecting Mute from the context menu crosses the image displayed on the
applet with a red line.

To make the Mixer Applet accessible following needs to be done
1) For the applet
Tooltip - "Volume Control"
Accessible Name - "Volume Control"
Accessible description - "The volume control lets you set the volume level
for your desktop. Press the Space bar or Enter key to change volume."
** Mute - This state of the mixer applet needs to be conveyed to a blind
user. There is no AtkStateType corresponding to a Mute state. Would it be
right to update the accessible description of the applet indicating its
mute state?
2) For the Vscale
Tooltip - "Volume Controller"
Accessible Name - "Volume Controller"
Accessible description - "Use Up/Down arrow keys to change volume"

Regards,
Parag
