In the Mouse interaction section of user interface guidelines(part of
the accessibility draft) at the following link: http://developer.gnome.org/projects/gap/guide/gad/gad-ui-guidelines.html,
one of the guidelines is " Don't depend on input from mouse button
2 or button 3 ".
What does this mean.? In many applications, user has to depend on the
inputs from mouse buttom 2 and/or 3.
For example, user has to right-click to get a pop-up menu or to do
other operations.
If the above accessibility guideline is followed, how the other
operations with
button 2 or 3 are going to be emulated with just button 1 of the mouse.?
Can somebody explain the above guideline in more detail with respect to accessibility.
Regards,
Narayana.
