Clock applet and dogfood

I just checked in an updated clock applet that uses the new applet API. It 
still needs some more work of course, but it works.

I actually run Gnome 2 now both at home and at work. I do think it is 
important that as many people as possible actually run gnome 2, or we 
won't find the problems, and people won't be irritated enough to fix them. 

We must eat our dogfood!
