Wow, this one hell of a thread to wake up to on a Friday morning!  I
doubt if I'll have time today to fully digest and comment on all the
things I'd like to, but I'll start with this one:

In fairness I ought to remind everyone that it was really the rest of
our GNOME HCI team at Sun who did the actual testing (with some valuable
help from Arlo at Eazel, too), I just got the easy job of presenting
some of the preliminary results!  I've copied the rest of the team on
this post (say hello, guys), hopefully they'll jump into the thread with
some thoughts and observations based on that work too.

Right, let's see what the other 40 messages were all about...  :)
