GnomeRecentlyUsed ?

Hi guys,

if I remember correctly, there was a dicussion about GnomeRecentlyUsed
some time ago - and if I'm not totally wrong the current status is that
it needs to be killed because it's unfinished, poorly designed, whatever ?

Does anyone remember what was discussed, whether it's correct to kill it
or what needs to be done ?

I did a google search, but without any luck and mail.gnome.org's search
feature seems to be broken again.
