See the 'gal2' branch of gal. It needs stable's changes pulling in
intelligently, I've had no real time to work on it recently.
Oh - and it's totaly inappropriate to suggest adding a 'recent'
type API to libgnomeui at this point; absolutely out of the question. The
API needs careful design, use, revision and stabilization. Gal seems a
good place for it if at all, and prolly best to start with the gnumeric
code I think.
