 The other PC may be using XFree86 version 4.0 - its configuration file is
named not /etc/X11/XF86Config, but most likely /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 .
So edit /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 on that PC (note - it has different file format
than /etc/X11/XF86Config - see documentation elsewhere).
