GNOME 1.4.x releases

I forgot to mention this at the releng meeting, but I'd like to
propose to the GF board that we do periodic 1.4.x point releases, at
least one every three months, basically taking the latest stable
versions of packages and doing integration testing, until GNOME 2.0 is
out.

I'll propose that the 1.4 release team continue to manage the 1.4
releases, mainly because I doubt anyone will want the job of
maintaining only point releases.

I'll mention this at the meeting tomorrow but not formally propose it
until we have had a chance to discuss it in a meeting.
