Any chance you could test with GNet from CVS? I think both issues have
been fixed there (this only happens with newer gcc versions IIRC). GNet
lives as 'gnet' module in Gnome CVS, so you should be able to check it
out with something like:
$ cvs -z6 -d:pserver:anonymous anoncvs3 gnome org:/cvs/gnome co gnet
