Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. I am interested in higher level abstractions like some
of the following:

- reliable message-level delivery
- automatic discovery on local subnets
- group membership by group name and delivery to a group

Generally, these features would make it easier to use the library, without
having to get into the details of managing sockets. Some of the same
features are found in Spread (http://www.spread.org), but we want to avoid
the iniquitous daemon.

Any thoughts?

There are no major projects currently underway.  Someone was working on SSL
integration though, but I think that may have stalled.  What are you
interested in doing?
