I am working on solaris 2.8 OS. I am using glade ver. 1.1.2 and the GNOME
2.0 desktop. I have built a GUI app using glade. I selected the C++ build
option in glade. glade-- built all of my source files for me.
I now run autogen.sh and I get the message "gnome-config: not found".
Where is gnome-config found and why didn't it get installed when I installed
the GNOME desktop?
gnome-config is gnome1 only.
This should be a warning. Glade-- detects your installed packages at
configure time, too. If they are not present glade-- is unable to guess
a reasonable default version if they are also not present at run time.
Most (All) people do not need this feature, but I didn't want to remove
it without neeed.
A piece of old code made glade-- look for gnome1 at run time
unconditionally. This should be fixed in CVS.
