Hi,
I am curently looking for a code generator tool. I first looked at Glade
and discovered your work as a C++ add-on. Your tool is of great interest
and we would like to use it in our futur developments under linux
platform. But before choosing the tool we nead to know some legal
details about your application.
I would like to know if the code that is generated by your application
Glademm is under the GPL licence or not. When I look to the licence of
Glade, it is clear that Glade itself is provided under the GNU licence
but the code it gererate is left free to licence the way we want.
Of course I'm in favor of the GPL for any project, but I would not
enforce people to give up their short term profits. ;-)
Can you tell me where glade has put this statement? I'd enclose it in
the same place.
If there is any legal note for the code glademm generates could you let
me know where it is?
I had already said that I see glade-- like other GPL code generators
(bison, glade, ...) which place no restriction upon the generated code.
Of course the generated code should have the same licence as the .glade
file (it's automatically generated from it). And it's up to you to chose
the license for your data.

PS: Do you know that glade-- generated code also works on Win32?
