Ask Damon Chaplin to switch the C++ option on again. I already did.
Perhaps more people mean faster response ...
Until then you can insert <language>C++</language> into the gladep file
by hand. Then all works as expected, only the button is gone.

PS: Please expect still problems with gnomemm2, the support is not
finished yet. Gtkmm2 is fine!
