Hi Tim,
sorry for the late response, I just got back from vacation.
I totally agree with you that we should make easier to tweak word
wrapping and other things per document. In fact we discussed it a few
times internally.
A menu item looks like the most obvious solution, but it has its
drawbacks. There are a couple of bugs in bugzilla.gnome.org discussing
this problem.
Hopefully we'll find a proper solution.
