[gedit-list] using gedit 2.4

When adding a blank line or deleting a blank line,
there is a brief delay. delay gets longer depending on
the length of the document. Has anyone had this
problem like by upgrading a library on the system. Do
you know witch library would cause it? or is it a bug
in gedit.                         

<I have no problem using othe text editers like
kde-kate and nedit.>
