[gedit-list] Gedit configure script failing to find gnome-vfs on RH7.2

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix the .configure script
so that it is able to find gnome-vfs. I am using RedHat7.2
and rpm -q gnome-vfs reports gnome-vfs-1.0.5-3

This is apparently due to gnome-config no longer being able
to detect the gnome-vfs package.
