[Geary] Not able to log in

Hi,

I'm trying to get geary 0.2.1 from the PPA to work with my postfix +
cyrus-based mailserver, but all I get is:

Oct 15 11:41:13 mail postfix/smtpd[12558]: warning: SASL authentication
failure: Got more data than we were expecting in the PLAIN plugin?

It used to work in 0.1 IIRC. Any hints how to solve this? I can provide
a test account on that server if that helps.
