[gdome] socket with gdome_di_createDocFromURI()

Hello,
I have created a server which ask a distant database. The data return 
format is the xml. I get the xml document with the 
gdome_di_createDocFromURI () function.
When I look the socket which are created, I see that the function has 
open around one hundred sockets and haven't close one. The problem is 
that after several request, the number of socket still opened is very high.
Does gdome_di_createDocFromURI () closed the socket?
