[gdome]DOM Level 3 XPath

I'm very interested in seeing XPath in gdome.  In particular the DOM Level
3 Working Draft:

I could help out by implementing it if needed.  It would be great if it
could be ready for the 0.7.0 release.

I would like to have it so that I can replace XML::LibXML in
XML::Canonical (Perl implemenation of Canonical XML) with XML::GDOME.
