Well, the current codebase (cvs module gdome2) was not modified in 
the past 3 months I think but both Anders Carlson and I plan on 
working on it somehow someday when we find time to do so.

If you are willing to join the project, I can answer your questions, give 
you a crash course in the gdome architecture and give you some small
projects to start with.
