Re: [gdm-list] GDM doesn't want to log me in

Kuba:

Please turn on "enable=true" in the "[debug]" section of the gdm.conf
file and restart GDM. Then after a few failures, send the GDM messages
from your syslog (/var/log/messages is often the place) to me.

Brian

I've been to many forums with this problem, but nobody could help me.
I'm using Vidalinux 1.2 and have installed Gnome 2.10.2, but I'v got a
problem with logging in. When I start my system I get GDM (version
2.8.0.7 but with 2.8.0.3 it was the same) and it asks me for my login
name, so I'm doing it, and then I get message box - "Authorization
failed". What is wird it doesn't ask me about my password! When I set to
login in automatically, then gdm is counting down, but after time
elapsed the couting down starts again! When I use xdm then it asks me for my login name and password and I can
log into Gnome without a problem.
Does anyone know how could I solve this problem!
I attach my gdm.conf file
Thanks in advance for your help.
