[gdm-list] GNOME Takes a long time to Boot Up

Hi :
this is my first post in here . i'm not a developer. i can say that i'm 
a power user very interested in seeing GNOME takes it's steps forward in 
the world of desktop computing. I've been using GNOME on a a Fedora Core 
4 laptop for 5 month. No problems at all. the machine runs very fine . 
the only problem that GNOME is taking a very long time ( 3-4 minutes ) 
to boot up. i can't find an explanation for that , since after it boots 
it just work fine. please i need help with this and i appriciate your time.
