Displaying an info window

Is there a way how to show user an information window before he/she logs
in?
On our multiuser linux server (in university network) we use xdmcp
sessions and the graphical greeter of gdm. I would like the first-time
users to be able to read some common instruction abut how to log-in, what
is "session", "language" etc.
