StarterBar?  Come on man, what about Genesis? ;)  You told me to make it and gave me the tools for making it look good after all =P
Seriously though, good ideas.  I wonder if there's a way to link to specific desklets from the dev book if code from "basic" desklets is used as an example.

I once made the Clock desklet and the popular StarterBar, so I will add
those. And StarterBar needs a long overdue update *lol*
