	Very odd - 2 sessions on the same machine should always have worked
fine - since the communication is done by a (shared) /tmp/orbit-$USER/
Unix Domain socket.

	Note - that to get the orbitrc thing to work you have to:

	a) Setup /etc/orbitrc at both client and server sides

	b) _Ensure_ that no-one is already running a gconfd that 
	   initialized it's ORB _without_ that setting, and thus
	   cannot communicate outside it's own box.

	I hope (and suspect) that you just had a stale gconfd-1/2 lying around
on one machine, that was initialized without it being allowed to talk to
the world.
