Re: Evolution exchange is very unhappy in 2.13.5

Carson,

Since I have the disk space and the free cycles, I maintain copies of
both the stable and the development GARNOME releases. If a user has
limited time or limited disk space, I would recommend installing only
the stable release, 2.12.2.1.

GARNOME-2.13.5 is a development release based on GNOME-2.13.5, which has
some issues [to put it politely]. To gain an appreciation for the
source and level of turbulence, it is instructive to look at the GNOME
release schedule:

        http://live.gnome.org/TwoPointThirteen

Note the dates for API/ABI freeze, feature freeze, module freeze, and UI
freeze.

I get the sense that developers are "throwing things over the wall" just
to get them before a freeze and will fix things later. If I am correct,
I would not expect to see a reasonable level of stability until 2.14.0
Beta1 has been released. Given the number of things that appear to be
broken, I am not wildly optimistic that the February 1'st date will be
met. Still, I am hopeful given the level of dedication of many of the
GNOME developers. We shall see...
