I am trying to compile garnome 2.12.3 on a Mandrake 10.0 system.
I have the file 

/usr/share/sgml/docbook/utils-0.6.14/helpers/docbook2man-spec.pl installed with  docbook-utils 0.6.14. This is the line 249 of this file:
        if(defined($_[0]->attribute('LANG')->value)) {
