gamin: a 'twlight zone' experience

Had a 'Twilight Zone' experience with gamin-0.1[56]

I would appreciate learning if other people have had similar experiences
with gamin under GARNOME-2.12.0.

Try the following:

*download something to the desktop
see if an icon appears
        yes ==> good
        no  ==> bad 
                ==> kill the nautilus process, which will automatically
                restart, and see if an icon magically appears

* run the regression suite
   - cd ./gamin/work/main.d/gamin-0.1[56]
   - make check

Did most of the tests pass?
        yes ==> good
        no  ==> bad
