Note:
The mono team is encouraging distributions to stick with Gtk# 2.4.xx and
to not ship 2.6.0

Unfortunately, gtk-sharp-2.4.0 fails to compile within a GARNOME-2.12.x
environment.  gtk-sharp-2.6.0 does compile and run.

I will investigate further.
