GARNOME 2.10.0.1 to be released soon

As most of you probably know already, there are a couple of serious
issues with the first stable GARNOME 2.10.0 release due to a number of
different reasons.

Paul, Bob and me worked hard to resolve all those issues and update
quite a couple of packages. We are currently waiting for the last
updated packages to be released, which contain some important fixes.

That means, GARNOME 2.10.0.1 likely will be released within the next 12
hours. (This is an informational note only, though.)

We expect 2.10.0.1 to actually be what the version number implies:
Stable. :-)

Notes, in case you already built GARNOME 2.10.0:

* If you already built 2.10.0 and went through the hassle of installing
all dependencies, building 2.10.0.1 should work almost unattended out
  of the box. [1]

* If you set GARCHIVEDIR in gar.conf.mk and run 'make garchive', you
will be able to re-use most of the already downloaded tarballs and
don't need to fetch them again.

Happy building...

...guenther

[1] With an exception of desktop/libgnomesu, which will ask for root
permissions. (Please don't build the entire GARNOME as root, though.)
