evolution-2.3.3.1: mono plugin fails to load

The mono plugin fails to load, complaining that

      mono_runtime_invoke() 

is undefined.

It appears that

      liborg-gnome-evolution-mono.so

was *not* linked against the mono libraries.

I edited the Makefile and set LDFLAGS equal the output from

     pkg-config --libs mono

which on my system is [ignore any line wrap]:

     -Wl,--export-dynamic -pthread -L/opt/garnome/lib -lmono -lpthread -lm
-lgmodule-2.0 -ldl -lgthread-2.0 -lglib-2.0

That made the problem "go away".

Was that the right thing to do??? We shall see...
