HAL-0.4.6

There are issues with earlier versions of HAL that cause the daemon to
segfault on PPC's running Yellow Dog Linux-4.0. 

I have worked with David Zeuthen, an author and maintainer of HAL, to
resolve the problem. An acceptable workaround has been developed and
tested. HAL-0.4.6 was released on 20-Jan-05.
