Jeremy,
At our request, the maintainer of gdm has kindly fixed this problem and
issued a point release, 2.13.0.2.
If you wish to update, do the following:
* cd desktop/gdm
* edit the GAR Makefile
change the version: 2.13.0.1 -> 2.13.0.2
* update the checksums
run: make makesum
you are now ready to build
* make install > make_install.log 2>&1 &
