Chris, that is out of line for a bugzilla report, IMHO. Sending your concerns
over email or a blog would have been a more appropriate forum.

Paul's inaccurate and meandering rant nonwitstanding, I stand by my previous
statement and convictions. This bug deserves to be closed for the reasons
mentioned above. I contend that I wasn't being rude, merely curt. Any rudeness
that you might've read into it isn't a concern of mine, but I'll apologize all
the same. It wasn't my intention to be rude. 

And while I appreciate the efforts spent by bug reporters, I'm not beholden to
them. It's within my purview (some might say that it's my obligation) to decide
what is and what isn't a bug, and act accordingly. I believe that I have done
so. That's just my 2 (unrequested) cents.
